Kane Kuartet, for Trombone Quartet
“Kāne Kuartet” is inspired by the ancient Hawaiian God Kāne. He was the first to become self-aware; through sheer will he was able to pull himself away from the darkness and chaos that was Po before him.
From a compositional standpoint, this challenging trombone quartet is an exploration of a royal fanfare, straddling the line between tonality and atonality. It offers exciting triadic harmonies, metrical contrast, and a lyrical section reminiscent of the late Romantic period.

Be Still and Know, for A Capella SATB

Jax
Ok, I know this is only audio, but I can send you the chord chart for it. I was thinking Wayne Shorter’s “Nefertiti” when I wrote this one. It’s a mellow track with some psychedelic twists.
Pollyjaxx
This is a companion piece to “Jax,” and is slated to be on the next full-length album. It’s funky, featuring a string section and a talk-box guitar solo!
